Spinach- 1/2 kg
Onion- 2 sliced
Green chili, ginger and garlic paste- 2 tsp
Tomatoes- 2 chopped
Yogurt- 1/2 cup
Kasoori methi- 1 tsp
Paneer- 250 gms
Salt- to taste
Garam masala- to taste
Butter- 50 gms
Oil- 1-2 tsp
Fresh cream- to decorate
Method:
- Fry onions in a little oil till they are translucent. Now grind them in a mixer with a paste of ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Boil and mash the spinach.
- Take 50 gms of butter in a separate pan. Fry the onion paste till brown and add chopped tomatoes, garam masala, salt, kasoori methi and yogurt.
- Add spinach and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lastly, add pieces of paneer and simmer for 1 minute. Decorate with a swirl of cream.
