Chilli Macronni

Ingredients:


Pasta- 150 gms- You can use any variety ( Penne, Ritoni)
Onions- 2 small
Green pepper- 1 small
Garlic cloves- 5-6 and Green chillies-2  OR Chilli Garlic sauce- 2 tsps
Tomato Puree- 5-6 tbsp
Tomato ketchup-  2 tsp
Soya Sauce- 1 tbsp
Vinegar- 2 tbsp
Salt and black pepper- to taste
Oil- 2-3 tsps
Ajino moto- 1/2 tsp ( optional)


Method:

  • Boil 100-150 gms of pasta with salt and according to directions on the packet.
  • Rinse immediately in cold running water.
  • They should not be overcooked or sticky.
  • Chop garlic and green chillis or use two spoons of chilli garlic sauce.
  • Chop onions and seprate them in square pieces.
  • Cut capsicum in to square pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Stir fry garlic, chilli or the chilli garlic paste and then onions, green pepper.
  • Add tomato puree, tomato sauce, soya sauce & vinegar, ajino moto, salt and pepper to taste in the pasta
  • Toss well and serve hot with chilli chicken , grilled chicken or fish.
TIP:
Notes for variations
Can use boiled corn, beans, carrots for vegetarians
Can use boiled shredded chicken for non-vegetarians.
Decorate the dish with grated cheese and serve hot.
