Dum Aloo

Ingredients:


Baby potatoes- 15-20- 250 gms
Salt- to taste
Oil- 2 tsp
Lemon juice- to sprinkle


For Masala


Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Cloves-5
Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
Coriander powder-  1 tsp
Red chilli whole- 3
Small cardamom- 3
Black peppercorn- 10-12


Method:

  • Grind all the above ingredients  of masala coarsely in a mixer.
  • In a pan heat oil. Saute potatoes in it.
  • Add salt and cover till tender.
  • Add the masala and cook for five minutes on low heat.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice and serve.
