Besan Poora- Serves 2



Ingredients:


Besan ( Gram flour)- 1 1/2 cups
Onion- 1 finely chopped
Fresh coriander leaves- 15 -20 sticks - washed and finely chopped
Salt- 1 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Caraway seeds- 1/2 tsp
Anardana powder- 1/2 tsp- 1 tsp
Water- 1 cup
Oil- to shallow fry poora

Method:

  • Take the gram flour in a bowl and mix the water into it and stir well with a big spoon to make a paste.
  • To this add finely chopped onion and coriander leaves.
  • Also, add the salt and the rest of the ingredients and stir to make a very thin batter.
  • Heat oil in a shallow pan and pour the mixture in the shape of a pancake / crepe. Cook on both sides until done.
