Urad dhuli dal - 3/4 cup
Moong dhuli dal-1/4 cup
Ginger-1" piece
Green chillies-2
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Fresh corainder leaves- 2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- to taste
Method:
- Soak dals together for 2-3 hours.
- Then grind with ginger and green chillies in a mixer. When you take out of the mixer, beat it vigourously with the hand.
- It should float in a cup of water when a little amount of the mixture is taken in the hand and dropped in it.
- In this add cumin seeds, coriander leaves , coriander powder, salt to taste and mix.
- Put water on hand and make it into the shape of a bhalla.
- Deep fry on medium flame. When done ( golden brown in color(, remove and soak in water for a few minutes.
- Squeeze when cold and then put it in the yogurt .
